Bitumen Corrugated Sheet 950mmx2m Black

Professional-quality sheeting that is manufactured to BBA standard. Bitumen corrugated sheet system is ideal for roofing garages, carports, sheds and other outdoor structures. Colour fastness is assured thanks to a unique colour impregnation process. Bitumen roofing cannot delaminate. Corrugation size is (nominally) 38mm high and 95mm wide (10 corrugations per sheet). Please refer to Good Ideas Leaflet 44 for fixing instructions (which can be downloaded from the Help & Advice section of the Wickes' website). Wickes is the only DIY retailer selling this professional quality BBA approved Onduline roofing system. B&Q only sell the Coroline 2.6mm thick sheets as opposed to this Onduline Professional grade 3mm thick sheet.

The Width of corrugations is 95mm with a Height 38mm. Each sheet has 10 corrugations.

The best way to cut our Bitumen Corrugated Sheet would be to lay the sheet on a flat surface mark out line of cut, provide good support on either side and cut using either an oiled coarse-toothed saw, or preferable a circular power saw.

950mm is the actual width. I'd overlap by 2 ridges which gives an effective width of 765mm.

Hi davetheroof

I discarded the nails, and used Wickes 2.5 inch No. 8 exterior grade screws with the plastic caps I took off the nails. Worked just fine. Don't know about the long-term survival of No. 8 screws, though. They're much thinner than the nails.
