How many bags of ballast do I need for 1 cubic meter of concrete? Can yuo deliver them?

You would need approx 60 bags of ballast for 1m3 of concrete. You may wish to look at our Jumbo bags of ballast as this would probably work out cheaper.

go to a concrete product site ie. ready mix and there is normally a mass calculator. easy to work out

You generally want 4 to 6 times the amount so 25kg cement with 100kg to 150kg of ballast.

concrete is normaly 6 ballast/ 3/4 down to 1 cement. try 4 bags per jumbo bag which is apparently 850 kg and not a tonn as i thought

jumbo bags are 850 kg the smaller sealed bags are 25kg same as cement bags

If you mean Product Code: 220082 then they aren't exact although they state on the side "Minimum Packed Weight 850kg" but its affected by how wet the ballast is too.

How much ballast (weight) will I need to fill a space 40mm x 0.8m x 0.1m?
I need to fill a void with ballast before laying a cover, probably of slate chippings, over the top, i.e. the ballast is only to avoid using too much expensive material to fill a void. Alternative fill materials, if cheaper, would be acceptable.
