Questions & Answers for Ceramic Farmhouse 1.5 Bowl Sink

Question
What is the sub-worktop dimension from the main bowl to the far end of the half bowl (external)?
I want to fit the bowls into a 600mm cabinet with the drainer over a dishwasher. I realise answers to previous questions state that a 1000mm cabinet is advisable and that a 600mm cabinet may require some adjustment but a rough calculation looks as though it might just fit without needing adjusting.

Also how deep is the drainer end?

Thanks

Answer 2
The measurement from one edge of the main Sink Bowl to the opposite edge of the ½ Bowl is approximately 495mm.

This sink will fit in a 600mm unit, but we would recommend installation in a 1000mm Base Unit for stability.

Answer 2
930X480 is just about right for this sink. But watch out for the corners, if they have a large diameter radius they may foul the corners of the sink.
I fitted mine to a laminate top so I could tweek it to fit. A solid granite top is not easy to file into.

We suggest using a Double base rather than a single as you will find you might have to do some modifications to the carcase.

Question
The 1 1/2 half white ceramic sink - you suggest a double carcass which I have but it seems very tight to fit in the standard 600mm worktop.
Will it fit my 1000mm carcass / worktop?

When fitting any Sink in to a Kitchen unit, we always recommend using a standard 1000m Base Unit as no modifications are required.

Question
Is my existing aperture ok for this sink?
I want to replace my sink with a ceramic one. The existing aperture size is 950 x 480, but the aperture recommended for this sink is 930 x 480. Will it be ok fitting the sink into a larger aperture? I'm assuming it will because the external dimensions (970 x 520) are greater than the aperture, and I understand that it doesn't use clips but is masticed in place, but would appreciate your opinion before proceeding. Thanks.

Although the sink will fit into the aperture you have mentioned we would not recommend fitting it in an aperture larger than the recommended sizes, as the sink would not be properly supported.
